Lifes Like That

Yes, I have been busy typing this past week, just not busy blogging. As most of you know I also do home transcription to earn a little extra income every month. Well earlier last week I was assigned a contract and given a week to do it. Well this has taken up a lot of my time. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. Yes, it’s quite fun work to do and I learn all kinds of things, but it really does take up a big chunk of my time. I am almost done (thankfully) and will be paid quite handsomely for all this work. After typing about security cameras for a week, I really do think I deserve it, don’t you?? But don’t worry in a couple of days time I will be finished with this particular project and it will be back to blogging as usual.

I swear to god that I spend more time at the grocery store these days than I do at home. It seems to me that every week I’m there and spending tons of money. I wonder if I could talk the family into some type of weight loss program. This way I could save a pile of cash. When the kids are home from school I swear all they do is eat. And neither child is overweight! I have no clue where they put this all. Are you wondering why I’m ranting?? Well, it’s because I have to go out once again today to the grocery store. Honestly, it feels like I was just there. That’s why I think that if we didn’t have to eat, we’d all be rich.

Well after three days of suffering with a massive toothache and not being able to eat, I did something I swore I would never do again. I made an appointment with the dentist! Now me going to the dentist would be like me going to the doctor and asking him for hemorrhoids relief medication. This normally wouldn’t have happened. But I honestly can’t stand the pain anymore. I wasn’t able to get in until Monday, so I will have to suffer for a couple of more days. But when I finally do get to go, I plan on asking for pain killers and will tell them to take the tooth. This way I won’t have to be in this kind of pain for very much longer.

So I once again am looking my age. Yesterday I dyed my hair and now have no greys once again. Now all I have to do is work on my acne, pimples and wrinkles. I actually have been checking out some eye cream reviews and think I have discovered a product that I would like to try. I am only 41, but most days I look a lot older than that. I’m really getting tired of people thinking that I’m in my late 40’s so I really do think it’s time for a change. I won’t do anything drastic, but if I can find some products to help me in my venture, what the heck, I’ll give them a try.

My youngest son is extremely tiny. He is almost 10 but still wears size seven clothes. Now normally his size doesn’t bother him as he has the energy of kids twice his age, but yesterday he was told something he didn’t like, and yes, it was because of his size. He wants to join the soccer team, but because he is so much smaller than the kids his age, his coach won’t allow it because he doesn’t want him to get hurt. He was very upset with this decision and even the phrase human growth hormone came up in our discussion about it. No, I will not be investing in any of this. I really wish this child would grow some. That way, maybe he could play soccer.

So of course with our weather being so nice these days, my thoughts have been turning to the upcoming camping season. Two months today the camping parks will be open for business. Now normally we don’t do a lot of camping until the kids get out of school, but this year could be different. If all this nice weather holds up and the temperatures stay mild, we probably will take out the camper before they are out of school. Man… I can’t wait for the camping season to start. Can’t you tell?!

Wow, I have to tell you all that I’m absolutely loving spring! The weather we have been getting lately has been so nice, that it honestly feels like summer is right around the corner. It’s so nice outside right now that I really don’t want to have to stay in the house. But I have a lot of housework that needs to be done before I can go out to play. Who knows maybe after I get my bathroom cleaned out and all the old testosterone cream and lotions thrown away, I just may be able to sneak outside for a little while. Hopefully this weather continues and I will be able to say that yes, spring has sprung!

It only took him eight years, but my husband has finally paid off his car! Well, he has decided that he wants to purchase a new one. Go figure. lol Well, he has been doing some research and has checked out some prices on SUV’s and trucks. He’s pretty sure that he knows what type of vehicle he wants and how much he has to spend, but I can honestly see this being a long process. This man takes forever to make up his mind about anything. So to get a jump start on the purchasing process, I started reading a infinity auto insurance review to see what type of money we will need to lay out later on. I figured I could do at least that much for him. Now…. all he has to do is finally make up his mind and just go out and purchase a vehicle.
