Lifes Like That

A couple of weeks ago my husband traded in his car for a Jeep Liberty. I was so excited. I was excited because I thought I would be driving this Jeep. Well apparently not. When my husband called to put me on his insurance his company quoted him such a high rate that we just can’t afford for me to drive his vehicle. This happened before when he was given some life insurance leads and I really getting sick of all these high quotes.

Thankfully I have my own car and own insurance so I guess I really don’t need to drive his Jeep. I just wanted to and am now disappointed.

My husband’s niece is home for a visit. She lives about 1000 miles away and we haven’t seen her since she was 8 years old which is about 13 years ago. Yesterday her boyfriend and her stopped by. First she visited with me and the kids and then after my husband came home from work she came back to visit some more. We all had a blast. It was really great to see her and to meet her boyfriend. Of course we both pulled out our digital cameras so we got a lot of great pictures. She’s a really nice kid and we had a really great time. I only wish that she lived closer so that we could see her more than once in 13 years.

The good news is, is that I am surviving the summer. Between the kids fighting and the very hot temperatures that we have been getting, I don’t know how I’m surviving, but I am. I’m really hoping this heat wave ends soon so all I have to do is put up with the kids fighting. Normally I look forward to summer, but this year has turned out to be extremely bad. We still have about six weeks of summer left and I’m really hoping the next six weeks improve a bit. But… September is coming right??

Earlier in the week my husband found a SUV he wanted to purchase and started getting the ball rolling. Well it’s almost the end of the week and we still don’t have the vehicle. I can’t believe how much paperwork and time and energy goes into a purchase like this. The last thing he had to do today was get in touch of his insurance company to show the dealer he has valid insurance. I told him to ask about term life ins while he was at it but he claimed he doesn’t have time. Hopefully after the dealer sees he has proof of insurance he can then finally bring the vehicle home. I can’t wait until this entire process is over.

Once again today I’m melting! I sure don’t need any of the safest fat burners right now this summer. This heat is sweating everything out of me. Yesterday we had a nice rainy day and today was supposed to be more of the same. But nope, right now it’s over 30 out and man… it’s hot. Don’t get me wrong I love summer, but this extreme heat is driving me crazy! And the bad thing is, is that these temperatures are supposed to continue on for the next week. If this crazy heats continues, I’ll just be a puddle in the middle of my house in no time.

I have been spending about 10 hours a day this past week on my computer and I have to tell you all that I’m in serious need of a break from it! I have been doing quite a bit of work on the computer and am not even close to being finished yet. Instead of typing all day I’d love to just be able to browse around the Internet for diet pills that work and just relax. But… since I’m not done my typing yet, that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. I’m really hoping to have everything done by Saturday noon so I can take a little time off.

Finally after two months of waiting, my test results came back yesterday. Although I’m 20 lbs underweight and my blood pressure is extremely low, according to my doctor I am extremely healthy!! Yay! That is a serious load off my mind. There was a few things happening health wise to me and that’s why I went and got checked. But apparently whatever was happening is not a big issue and I’m good to go. I don’t like going to the doctors to begin with and all this waiting was pure he**. But thankfully everything turned out okay.

Wow I can’t wait until this heat wave is over! For the past week we have had to live with unbearable temperatures and I have to say that I’m really getting tired of it. It’s too hot to stay inside, it’s too hot to go outside and it’s even too hot to sleep. And don’t get me started on all the extra acne solution treatments I’ve had to invest in because of this weather. Hopefully this hot weather will come to an end soon, or I really do think I’ll end up on the floor in a puddle of water.

I’ve been working from home on the Internet for about four years now. During the last four years I’ve only turned away work once and that was due to a serious illness in the family. Well last night I had to turn away work once again. I was asked to write some articles on the Bob revolution and since I have no real experience with this topic, I felt that I couldn’t do the articles justice. I really do hate to turn away money, but if I’m unclear with the subject matter, I’d rather turn it away then try to do the job and possibly not do a good job.
