Lifes Like That

As you can see, I have been doing quite a bit of blogging lately. The only problem with all this blogging is that I think I’m starting to run out of things to say. I would love to do a series of blog posts on one particular topic, but I really have no clue what topic that I would like to post on.

So this is where you all come in. What topics would you like to see posted here on this blog? I do a lot of crafting so am wondering if this particular topic would interest any one of you. Please let me know what you think so that shortly I’ll have more things to blog about.

So once again I haven’t been around very much. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been stuck to my computer. I have been doing some more general transcription files and since they have a due date, I really had to concentrate on them and not blog so much. But once again I am finished with the files and able to get in here to do a bit of blogging. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get some farming down on my farm in “Facebook”.

Well you can imagine my surprise when I discovered that I actually got some page rank back on this blog. Two years ago each and every blog I owned lost it’s page rank and now finally I’m starting to see movement on these blogs once again. I really don’t know why I got this page rank back. I’m unsure if it’s because I’ve posted less about things like San Francisco job search and have posted more personal and family stuff. I really wish I knew why I got the page rank back. This way I could continue doing it and maybe increase my page rank on my other blogs that lost their rank two years ago as well.

Yes, I have been busy typing this past week, just not busy blogging. As most of you know I also do home transcription to earn a little extra income every month. Well earlier last week I was assigned a contract and given a week to do it. Well this has taken up a lot of my time. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. Yes, it’s quite fun work to do and I learn all kinds of things, but it really does take up a big chunk of my time. I am almost done (thankfully) and will be paid quite handsomely for all this work. After typing about security cameras for a week, I really do think I deserve it, don’t you?? But don’t worry in a couple of days time I will be finished with this particular project and it will be back to blogging as usual.

As you can see on this blog, my Alexa rank is climbing. Well, that’s not a good thing. So I’ve decided to give this blog a little makeover. Not only am I going to look for a different template for it, but I have decided to do less paid posts such as natural acne treatment as well. I’m hoping these efforts will pay off and my blog will become a little more popular once again. I guess I got into a rut and am having a hard time getting out of it. So over the next few days, you may see some changes that will help to make this blog a little more enjoyable to read.

Well it’s official. I have been a blogger now for about three years. Wow, I really can’t believe where all the time has gone. I have learned so much over the past three years that I’m quite proud of myself. I now know everything about HTML and how to insert links such as Eagle Creek luggage. I have learned how to set up word-press blogs and how to upload images and other stuff. Three years ago I could barely turn on my computer, so I really do think I’ve come a long way. Certainly I have a long way to go yet, but I’m pretty sure over the next three years I will learn just as much as in the previous years. Isn’t the Internet amazing???

Finally I am starting to see some movement on my Alexa rank. For the past few months it has been pretty high and it didn’t seem to matter what effort I put forth, I could not seem to get it to go down. Although it’s still pretty high, it has started to go down. So I am happy with this move. I have been doing a lot of networking (and have the dark circles around eyes to prove it) and it’s finally starting to pay off. I still have a long way to go to get it down to the numbers that I would like to see. But at least it’s a start.

Well as you can all tell, I’m back!! For the past few months I just couldn’t seem to get my blogging together. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been doing this for three years now and just got bored or if it’s because I have so many blogs, I just started to get overwhelmed. Well, whatever the problem was, it seems to have gone away. I have my passion back for blogging. Yay! Now all I have to do is come up with the fun and interesting topics that I think you folks may like to read about. But I think the dry spell is definitely over.

Now with both kids back to school, I have had a lot more time to myself these days. I have been able to get so much done around the house and have also been able to start spending a lot more time on the Internet as well. So I’m thinking if this trend continues, I will be able to get back into blogging a little more heavily over the next few months. This really does please me as I have really missed my blogging activities over the summer.

So… if you see me around more often in the future, now you know why. It actually does amaze me at how much more I can get accomplished when I don’t have two little people underfoot and fighting all day every day.

Lately I have been pretty slack when it comes to updating my blogs. But, not any more. I have a renewed energy when it comes to updating my blogs. I have been posting a lot more regularly on my blogs than in the past and over the next couple of days I plan on cleaning up the blogs looks themselves. Normally I get in a little funk when it comes to blogging and that is what happened to me last month.

But, I’m back on track with a renewed vengeance. And, you will see me a whole lot more over the next few weeks. Man, it’s great to be out of my funk!
