You could have blew me over with a feather when I received a comment on this blog from Susan over at http://angelsonyourshoulder.com telling me that she was passing me this wonderful award. It’s been quite a while since I last posted about Project Wonderful.  So I thought I would give you an update.  Last week I hit the $10.00 payout again.  So I requested payout and within the day I was paid and it was in my paypal account.  So this was the second payment I have received from them for $10.00.  I know $10.00 doesn’t sound like much, but…after you place the code you then can forget about it.  You don’t have to do anything extra.  So it’s really passive income.  Plus every $10.00 I receive from them pays for one year of hosting for one of my sites.

So…I guess what I’m trying to say is that I am quite happy with the program and will continue on with it.

Finally after months of whining, I took my computer into the shop over the weekend. I have finally decided to take the plunge and have my computer get a total memory upgrade. It will cost me a little bit of money to have all this done, but I honestly think that in the long run it will be well worth it. The only thing I’m not pleased about is that they plan to have my computer in their shop for most of the week. Having been without it now for a couple of days, I’m kind of going through “my” computer withdrawals. I can use my husband’s, but it’s not the same. But to have a better running computer, I just have to suck it up and make do. Then when I get the unit back, I will be so happy with the improvements that I will have forgotten all about my computer withdrawals.

I just added the top commenters plug in and I have to say that it’s way…cool.  I’ve been looking for something like this for well over a year now and now that I’ve found it and have it installed I’m so happy with it.  This way I can reward all you top commenters on this site.  So if you’d like a link back to your site from this site, now all you have to do is comment.  I hope you will comment because you like what your reading as well. lol

It’s hard to believe that it’s June already. The month of May passed so quickly. So..it’s time to give thanks to my top droppers from Entrecard for the month of May. Back in February my husband bought me this laptop. My old one was running really slow and constantly jamming up all the time. My frustration level was over the top when I was trying to work on the Internet or work on all my blogs. So because he felt sorry for me, he decided to surprise me with a brand new laptop. For the past three months I have been seriously happy with it, but I have noticed over the past couple of weeks that it is running a lot slower than it originally did. I have tried cleaning it out to see if that was the problem, but that didn’t seem to help.

So I am wondering if I may need to do a computer memory upgrade on this thing. I really hope not, but if that’s what it takes to speed my machine up, then that’s something I’m definitely going to have to look into. I refuse to go back to the way things were on my old computer.

Last week I did a post requesting help from all you Entrecard experts and you all came through like troopers! Especially my good friend Tammy. Tammy gave me a link to a cleaner site (it’s free) to clean out all my cookies and stuff after I had done all my dropping from one of my blogs. Because I have several blogs in the Entrecard system I have to clean out my computer after each and every drop from one account. This is the only way it would work. But even cleaning out the system each time, it’s still faster dropping cards this way than it was the way I was doing. So thank you Tammy and thank you to everyone else for your sound advice. Now that I am aware that I need to clean out my cookies (that word makes me giggle), my dropping time has been cut in half!!

A little over a year ago, I created my first blog and set upon my journey into the Internet world. Now you all have to understand something. When I first started on the Internet the only thing that I knew how to do was to turn on the computer. I didn’t even know how to cut and paste. I have come a long way since then. I have learned so much such as creating websites, editing html, creating blogs and yes, even copying and pasting. So now that I have the basics down, I have been trying to learn about the different types of products such as the CAT5e that are available on the market for computers and Internet users. I am learning quite a bit, but I have found that I have so much more to learn. But give me a couple of more years doing this type of work, and I’ll be able to claim that I’m an expert.
