Lifes Like That

Well she finally did. I told her all about how much fun blogging has begun to be for me and have been pestering her to set up her own blog and now she finally has one up and running. Over at Carries blog you can read all about her kids, her activities and her life in general. She is trying very hard to build up her readership and increase her page rank, so I’m hoping with this post I can help her out. So, if you’d like to meet a new friend and give a fellow blogger some feedback why not drop by Carrie’s site and give her a high five for all her hard work.

I have been on the Internet for a little over a year.  I have joined many forums and even started one of my own.  I thought this would be a great way to meet new people and learn new things.  For the most part, this has turned out to be true.  But, I have been really amazed at the very nice and helpful people that I have met in the blogging world.  If I were to thank each and every one of them for all their wonderful help and advice, I would have to spend twenty four hours a day, seven days a week on the Internet thanking them.  So, in this post I would like to personally thank everyone for all their helpful advice and tips and hopefully in a few more months, I will be able to pay this kindness back to others just starting out just like I was.  Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

I’ve become quite addicted to the blogging world and am always on the lookout for new and interesting blogs to read. Well over at Whitney Fay’s she discusses anything and everything on her blog. It is very interesting to me to see what takes place in other people’s lives around the world and I am quite interested to see what she has to report next. So, if your a blog hopper like I am, why not stop by this site and give a great big hi to Whitney Fay.

As I currently have three blogs on the go right now, I know how difficult it is to start a brand new one on my own domain and to try to increase traffic and readership to. Well, I have a friend over at payperpost that just started a brand new blog on her own domain and think that she has started to do a wonderful job. I am a very active reader of all her other blogs and enjoy reading what she has to say. You can find her site at Angie’s Blog and one of the best things that I have discovered about her is that she enjoys crafting just as much as I do. So why not stop by and take a peek at her brand new blog.

My daughter is eight years old, and for as long as she can remember, she has had long hair. It does seem like a hassle to her to have to get it brushed and put up every day for school, but she is as proud of her hair as her father and I are. Everyone who meets her compliments her on her beautiful hair and I think that’s one of the reasons why she does keep it so long without a fuss.

Last week she was watching a show on TV about donating your hair for cancer patients for wigs and indicated that this is something that she wants to do. This is the ONLY reason why her father and I would consider letting her get her beautiful hair cut. (her grandmother has cancer and she wants to donate her hair for a wig for her). I was just reading over at Angie’s blog how she wants to grow her hair out for the same reason. I commend both of them for their kind thoughts and wish there were a lot more people out there who had this kind of compassion.

After a hetic weekend with work, the family and housework, I always like to go in and see what all my friends have been up to over the weekend. I love reading about their adventures and it makes me feel like maybe I had been with them over the weekend. Well today was no different and here’s what I discovered that my friends were up to.

Over at Mesissa’s she had her first midwife’s appointment. Go on in and see how she made out. Over at snuzuloos place they discuss Salmonella. Very interesting read for those who don’t quite understand Salmonella.
