Lifes Like That

Last week I tried to use my new i-Phone to call my brother and every time I tried to call him I would lose signal. I’m getting really tired of this happening in my area. So I have decided to purchase a wi ex. I have read some pretty great reviews about this product and decided this is something that I absolutely have to have. But I now have to save money for it. I’m pretty broke since spending all my extra cash on Christmas so I really don’t have any spare dollars right now. If I can’t save up the money I plan on using my income tax refund to purchase one. So one way or another I will have better signals from my phone within the next couple of months.

I have a friend who only lives up the street but for some reason we can’t seem to get together to hang out. We have made plans over the past couple of weeks but it really hasn’t panned out. We are supposed to go out this morning for coffee and honestly I am quite pleased about this. It will be nice to see an adult once again and have a chat and will also be great to get out of the house for a little while as well.

Tomorrow night is the annual Santa Clause parade in the city near where we live. So instead of doing research on air ambulance services we will be taking the kids to the Santa Clause parade. I honestly thought my kids were getting a little old for this, but both of them asked their father if he would take them. So I guess your never to old to enjoy a good Santa Clause parade. Next weekend is the parade in our town and they have already made plans to go to that one as well. I don’t think that either one of them still believe in Santa Clause, but it’s still kind of cute that they want to go to the parades. So keep your fingers crossed that for the next couple of weekends the weather is nice and we can all enjoy these parades as a family.

I have a lot of stuff lying around here that I haven’t used in years so I’m thinking of going through my clutter to see if I can generate some extra cash. I have an old guitar that hasn’t seen a guitar tuner in years, have some old coins and have a lot of craft items I can sell. If I manage to sell all this stuff not only will I be able to make some extra cash, but I will also be freeing up some space in my home as well. Hopefully once I find this space, my husband doesn’t go out and purchase more items to fill up the house once again.

I am so proud of myself! For the first time in years I’ve got a great chunk of my Christmas shopping done and let me tell you folks this was no easy task. My daughter turned 13 this year and trying to find her gifts for her age is almost impossible. She is in the in-between stage of gift giving so finding presents for her is a little daunting. But I was able to find some perfect stationery (so she can write to her friends and brother) at invitationbox.com personalized stationery and I honestly think she is going to love it. I really hope I can keep this up and have all my shopping done early for once in my life!

Well I guess I won’t be blogging about the best fat burners on the market these days or anything else for that matter. My internet has been acting up for the past couple of days and I’m just amazed that it’s letting me type this much. I have contacted my internet service provider and they are sending me a new wireless modem and router but until I get it and have it all hooked up my service will be sketchy at best. But hopefully I will be able to post soon that I’m back up and running the way I should be and hopefully be able to finish all my computer work on time as well.

I’m really starting to get sick of computers. First my old laptop died a slow horrible death and now this one, that I’ve only had for three weeks mind you is acting up. Yes, I’ve only had this one for three weeks and it’s already giving me problems. It’s so darn frustrating that I’m seriously considering throwing it out the damn window. I plan on taking it back to the store today and demand that they fix it or give me a new one. Otherwise, this will be one more store in this area that will not be getting any more money from me. Hopefully my next post to you folks will be that I received some satisfaction in all this mess.

Well our contract on our phones are almost up so once again I am on the look out for a new phone. I would absolutely love to purchase a htc desire android but in all honesty I think that’s way…. way to much phone for me. The phone is amazing and I would love to have one but all I really do with a phone is talk and text so I think most of their features would be a waste on me. So I don’t think that’s the way I will go, but I do plan on making my purchase in the very near future. All I need to do now is make up my mind.

Well you sure know spring has arrived when you see the men out working on the streets with their echo blowers. Yesterday was a beautiful day in our area and really all you seen was people outside cleaning up their yards. I didn’t do any yard work yesterday as I had way to much stuff to take care of inside. But my time will come, he he. I normally don’t do very much work outside until I see others getting into the spirit of things. So after seeing everybody outside yesterday, I now officially have the yard cleaning bug.
