Lifes Like That

I couldn’t sleep in

I couldn’t sleep in

Usually on the weekends my husband is pretty nice to me and lets me sleep in. Since I have to get up so early in the morning during the week, and stay up, he tries to do this nice thing for me on the weekends. Unfortunately this morning I didn’t get to sleep in very long as the sun was beating through my window and it woke me up quite early. Now if I had of bought the roller shades for my bedroom window like I wanted to, I wouldn’t have had this problem. It’s suppose to be really sunny tomorrow as well, so tonight before I go to bed I’m going to try to remember to put a blanket on the window and maybe I will be able to sleep in tomorrow morning.

Already thinking about Christmas

Because I have three kids and one husband to buy for, I tend to start looking for Christmas presents and deals quite soon after the new year. I know it sounds a bit crazy to be thinking about Christmas in March, but by using this line of thinking, I have save myself some major cash over the years. Another great time to pick up some excellent bargains for the Christmas season is to go out shopping when the stores are advertising their black friday sale. This sale starts the day after Thanksgiving.

On this note, I would like to tell you all about a site that I recently discovered over at www.blackfriday.info. At this site, you will be able to find all the items that you could possibly want to purchase without standing in line. This is an awesome way to get all the deals that you that others get from standing in line. All you need to do is sit by your computer. And, they will even send you email alerts to let you know when the latest Black Friday ads have been posted. Their site is extremely easy to navigate and is extremely user friendly. They list stores such as WalMart, Office Depot and Staples. Just to name a few. I am a serious WalMart shopper, so having access to a site like this will save me a lot of time and aggravation.

So if you need to do some Christmas shopping anyway, why not stop by this site and take advantage of all the deals that they have found for you. On Black Friday, your feet will thank you for not making them wait in line.

Weight gain update

Well first of all I would like to tell you all that I’ve been a VERY GOOD GIRL!!  I am eating twice as much as I was and I am starting to put on the weight because of this.  Now, before you all go thinking that you “hate me because I’m skinny” I’m going to explain something to you.  Ever since I can remember I have been underweight.  I have just as hard of a job of putting on weight as anyone does trying to lose it.  I am 5 feet 1 inch tall but only weighed 89 pounds when I started my crusade to gain weight.  Now this is not healthy.  My doctor has told me that my ideal weight for my height is 110lbs.  I’ve never been that weight except when I was pregnant and since the baby factory has closed, I needed to find a different way to put on weight.  And now I have.

Normally I would eat once a day (whether or not I wanted to).  I don’t enjoy eating or food in general (another post for another day), but I have been forcing myself to eat twice a day.  And it’s finally starting to pay off.  So I started out at 89lbs and have managed to go up to (drum roll please) 92lbs.  So yes, I’m slowly creeping up there.  It hasn’t been easy, but I’m plugging away at it.  When I finally hit the 95lbs mark I’ll be back to tell you all about it.

I must be getting older

It wasn’t that long ago, that I would have never entertained the thoughts of checking around for different term life insurance quotes. I guess when your younger, you think your invincible and don’t really believe any bad will happen to you. But as you get older, you start thinking about these things a little differently. Although I don’t like to think about death and everything associated with it, I have come to the conclusion that I need to step outside my comfort zone and look at these things a little more closely. I guess that’s why I think that I must be getting older. The younger me wouldn’t have even had thoughts in this direction.

Where to purchase gold

I have always wondered where a person would go to purchase gold, silver or other precious metals. In the past I have heard people discussing the purchase of gold for future investments and thought that this was a pretty neat idea. So, when I came across this site over at monex.com I found where a lot of people are going to purchase their gold, silver and precious metals commodities.

Over at this site, you would be able to purchase any of these types of metals at a pretty reasonable price. You could either have these products shipped directly to your home or you could ask this company to store them at their facility for you for future delivery. The Monex company has been in business for many years and have proven themselves to be the leaders in this industry. So if your in for a gold, silver or precious metals purchase, why not check out this site and get started on your investment future today.

Filling out the paperwork

Every year at this time of year it is the same song and dance. My husband’s company sends out piles of paperwork to fill out for his upcoming insurance policy. We have had to fill out the same forms each and every year for the past ten years and it’s starting to get a bit monotonous. Not only do we need to fill out the standard information regarding health, number of dependants, but this year we also need to fill out a medicare part d form as well. I honestly don’t understand why the company can’t just copy all the information from years gone by. But, if we want to keep all our insurance policies up to date and active, this is something we need to do.

Thank goodness he’s a mechanic

When I went to get my car inspected in December, one of the things on my car that my husband noticed was broken was one of my led tail lights. I don’t really pay too much attention to the parts that are working on my car. I just pay attention if I can’t get the car to start. But, by him noticing that one of my tail lights was broken, he probably saved me about $100.00. Yes, it would have cost me that much for the motor vehicle shop to replace the light and labour costs. So some days it really does pay to have a mechanic for a husband. Now if I could only talk him into putting my car starter in, I’d be all set.

My Insurance is almost due

I’m really starting to detest this time of year. It’s right after Christmas and I have no money and my car insurance is due. So every year I do the same song and dance and look around for different car insurance quotes, but usually end up sticking with the same insurance company. Well not this year. I have been doing a little digging around and some research and I just received a very reasonable car insurance quote from costulessins.com.

I have found that this company is very reasonable in their prices and their customer service is one of the best. And because they have several offices located all over the state of California, I know that I am not the only one who thinks that this is a great company to deal with. So, if your time is up on your insurance coverage and you’ve been looking for a reputable company to deal with, why not drop by this site and see how they can assist you with all your insurance needs.

I’m not a morning person!

I am so….not a morning person. I’m really not a night person either, but that’s for a different day, different post! The main reason why I hate mornings so…much is because they are always so busy and so disorganized. I despise waking up to the fighting, running around and hollering that seems to accompany my life every morning. The weekends aren’t really bad, but during the week when my husband is getting ready for work and the two youngest kids are getting ready for school our home is really hetic. One of these days they are going to wake me up and I’m going to pretend not to hear them and maybe they will go away.

But the good news is. Is that after my TWO cups of coffee, I’m usually functioning quiet nicely. But it would still be awesome if I could somehow figure out how to avoid mornings in the future.

I need to make a purchase

Honestly, sometimes I really don’t understand myself. A couple of years ago I purchased my laptop and when the sales person asked me if I would be interested in purchasing the extended warranty for my laptop I said no. I really didn’t want to spend the extra money for a warranty that I figured I wouldn’t need. The only thing about this warranty that I wasn’t thinking really clearly about, was that if you purchased it you also were able to get a laptop battery for free. Boy, am I kicking myself now as I now need a new one and I will have to go out and pay for it myself.

That’s why it’s a good thing that I found a site over at allbatts.com. Over at this site I will be able to purchase a new laptop battery at a pretty reasonable price. Not only do they sell laptop batteries, but you can also purchase any other type of battery that you may need from this site as well. This is a really good thing for my house as it seems like everything we buy, whether it be toys or other gadgets, requires batteries. So, I am headed over to this site to find my new laptop battery and hopefully in the future I will have learned my lesson and possibly purchase any extended warranties on any other products that I purchase.
