Honestly, sometimes I really don’t understand myself. A couple of years ago I purchased my laptop and when the sales person asked me if I would be interested in purchasing the extended warranty for my laptop I said no. Over the past five days, we have been hit with snow storm after snow storm.  We have so much snow outside right now that it is impossible to see the other side of the road because of how high the snow banks are.  Yesterday I heard on the radio that we hadn’t seen this much snow in over 20 years and I can believe that!  So I am happy to report that today it is cold, but sunny.  Now usually I’m the type of person who prefers the snow over the cold, but not this year!  As long as it’s so cold outside it is too cold to snow which mean no more shoveling for me.  The weather forecast is calling for the next few days to be very cold, but at least no more snow will be falling.  And for this I am thankful!

For the past two days it has been snowing here non stop.  Finally we woke up this morning to seeing the sun shining brightly with no white stuff floating down from the sky.  I haven’t seen this much snow drop down in years and now we get the pleasure of plowing ourselves out.  With the amount of snow that has fallen, this job is going to take quite a while.  It makes you wish that you had a snow blower.  But, for the past few years a snow blower hasn’t been needed.  The last couple of years we haven’t had enough snow to even justify having a snow mobile.  I have to say after the latest snowfall that having a snow mobile wouldn’t be a waste of money.  Oh well, snow is better than the deadly cold that we normally get, so I am certainly not complaining.

Finally I got my car fixed!!  A couple of weeks ago I took my car in for it’s annual inspection.  Unfortunately for me the car failed.  The price to get it fixed that the shop quoted me was completely outrageous, so I took the rejection sticker and went about my merry way.  So, I started calling around to other different shops to see what kind of a price that they would quote me.  I found one site that quoted me a lot less money so I made an appointment and took my car to them.  I have to say that I received the very best service that I had ever received from any automotive shop.  Not only were their prices the best around, but they also gave me a drive home and picked me back up when my car was ready.  Because of this excellent customer service that they displayed, I have ever intention of going back to them next year when it’s time to get my car re-inspected.

When my husband was asking me what I would like to receive for Christmas, one of the things on my list was a micro sd memory card for my computer. Even though my computer is only two years old, it’s now obsolete. So, now I have been looking at ways to upgrade my computer so that I have more memory so that my computer will run better. It amazes me on how much memory is required to keep a computer up and running and right now at this present time, my computer isn’t running as well as it could be. The other day my husband mentioned to me that he needed to pick up a Cat 5. Well of course I had no clue what he was talking about and got a little concerned that we need to pick up 5 cats. Finally after three weeks of having sick kids home (and a sick husband), I have the house to myself today.  My daughter went back to school today after being out of school for an entire week due to phenomia.  She is on the mend and back to her normal routine, so this makes it so I can get back to my normal routine.  This means it is going to be a very busy day for me today.  I need to clean out my car (to get it ready for inspection), go to the store to buy wrapping paper and tape, wrap gifts and do some more work on my homemade jewelry to get ready for a craft fair this weekend.  If the kids were still sick and at home, all this work wouldn’t be possible.  But with them both in school and my husband back at work, I have run out of excuses.  lol
