I am an avid collector of many things. I collect coins, collector spoons, pigs, cows and jewelry. Yesterday I had the opportunity to add to my jewelry collection. I was at a jewelry store and seen that they had new pocket watches on sale. So I bought two. One for each on my sons when I finally do decide to pass down my collections. Most of my jewelry collection consists of stuff for my daughter so for me to be able to grab a couple of watches for the boys made me feel good. At least when they start getting the items from me, there will be a little bit of things for everyone.

When I first started making jewelry, I had no problems finding the little holes in the beads to run the wires through. But it seems like the more jewelry I make, the harder it is to see the tiny holes in the beads. After an extremely frustrating weekend of trying to bead, but not being able to see them properly, I have decided that I really need to get some magnifying glasses to be able to continue with this work. It would be an awful shame if I had to give up this craft that I have just started getting into and loving it. So hopefully with the help of a magnifier, I can still continue this craft.

I have a very strange hobby. When I get bored I have a tendency to spend a bit of time on different real estate sites. I love to look at different areas all around the globe and compare the different prices of their houses and real estate properties to my local areas. One area that I have discovered that has similar prices to my area is in the real estate Branson location. If I lived close to that area I would be able to purchase property that is quite similar to the property that is available in my area. This is good to know if I ever decide to move to Branson.

Although I am very crafty in some areas such as knitting, quilting and jewelry making, some artistic areas I am seriously lacking in. I would love to be able to paint, sculpt or even body paint. But that is where my creativity ends. Even though I am not that kind of artist, I really enjoy do looking at other people’s works and I have always wondered as to where they get their talent and designs for some of their creations. I would have to say that I am highly interested in the art of body painting and lately I have being doing a little bit of research on this subject.
I have always wondered where in the world people find enough liquid latex to be able to do this type of art. I would imagine it would take a great deal of paint, and it is probably quite expensive. I guess that is why it’s pretty cool that their are sites available such as liquidlatex.com where a person could get all the body paint they would need. Not only can you find a wide array of colours from this site, but they also come in three different size cans. You can get them in the 16oz, 32oz and gallon containers. Also, if your not ready to make a big purchase of a lot of paint, you can always browse their paint sleeves to get an idea of what you would like. Purchasing is extremely easy and all you need to do is place your order directly from their site and they will have it shipped to your destination.
So if this type of art is something that you are interested in, or you would like more information regarding the needed supplies to get started in the body art business, then I highly recommend checking out this site to see what they have to offer.

When I go to purchase a new book, I tend to stay away from books that are trilogies or sequels. The main reason for this, is because once I start reading the first book, I get hooked and know I’m going to drive myself crazy waiting for the next book to come out. Unfortunately my husband doesn’t think of these things and this past Christmas he bought me a book that is going to be a series. I started reading the book and yes now I’m hooked so again I will be waiting for the next book to come out and then the next one.
I’m certainly not complaining that he bought me a book, but now because I know that there are more books to follow in this series I am going to be anxiously checking out bookstores so I don’t miss the ending. How about you guys? Do you purchase single volumes or do you go for the series?

One of people’s favorite hobbies is collecting some form of art. Not only are they extremely attractive to look at, but over time these pieces can become quite valuable. To be able to get involved in something like this, you need to find a reputable art gallery like the Park West Gallery to make your purchases from. This gallery is the largest gallery in the world to display the fine arts. They conduct their art auctions all through the United States and Canada. Their affiliate company, Park West as Sea, holds cruise ship auctions around the world. So, if you’ve been interested in starting an art collection of your own and didn’t know where to find the best art gallery to begin this, then I highly suggest that you drop by this site and begin your collecting today.

Yesterday on our way to my husband’s fathers house we seen someone having a yard sale. So just for kicks, we decided to stop in and see what they had for sale. Most yard sales consist of a lot of junk or they charge unreal prices for their junk. But, we were seriously surprised a this yard sale. The prices were really good. I ended up getting six books for $1.50. You can’t beat that.
Sorry Tammy, you don’t get these ones as they will be part of my collection of V.C. Andrews so I won’t be passing them on to you. LOL It would be nice if all yard sales were like this. Maybe it wouldn’t cost me such a fortune in books. LOL

I am so happy. Just this past week a new used book store opened up in our area. Now when I’m finished reading a book, I can take it into this store and either trade it in for a new book or obtain store credit for use at a later date. Not only will this ensure my book reading pleasure for months to come, but it gives me a great outlet to get rid of the books that I have finished reading. I used to pass over the books I was finished with to my mother, but now with her gone, I really had nothing to do with them. Now I can trade them in and someone else will get pleasure out of the books I have traded in, and I will have the opportunity of obtaining some brand new reading material for me.

One of my passions in life is collecting art. Not only can I envision what the artist is trying to protray to the general public, but I’m really hoping that some of the pieces that I have collected over the years may in fact become more valuable then when I originally purchased them. One type of art that I am especially fond of is decorative wall art. I find these pieces so unique compared to the regular art that you would find in shops or museums. Being a crafty person myself, I can only imagine the amount of work and creativity that goes into each and every piece.
Other forms of art that I am particularly fond of are metal wall sculptures metal wall art and iron wall art. This is why I was especially happy to discover a site over at www.walldecorandhomeaccents.com. Over at this site, you will find so many different and uique pieces of art that will suit just about anybody’s taste. I especially love one piece that I found over there. It’s a Vantania Metal Wall Plaque. So, if your just like I am and enjoy looking at and purchasing unique art pieces, then your really going to want to stop by this site to see what kind of art they have on display.

As an avid reader, I have come to discover that you can never have too many books. My husband would strongly disagree with this statement, but I guess that’s because he isn’t as hooked on reading as I am. Usually I purchase my books at discount stores because I buy so many of them. But lately I have been searching at different sites online to see if I can get them any cheaper. Purchasing books online seems to be the way to go for anyone who reads as much as I do. After I make the purchases, I then have lots of books to choose from and when I am ready to make another purchase, all I need to is find my mouse and have a click.
