Lifes Like That

Last night I was online searching the Internet for some great gift ideas for my friends for the holidays. It’s too bad I don’t know any nurses as I did find some amazing deals on discount scrubs but none of my friends are in need of that type of gift. I was able to find some pretty neat ideas though. So… since I’m kind of running out of time I’m going to spend a little time today ordering these gifts. I just hope they make it to my house within the next 10 days. I’ve got to tell you all that I do enjoy Christmas but this year I’ll be pretty happy when it’s finally over.l

Here in Canada we have a long weekend fast approaching. This upcoming weekend is our Thanksgiving weekend. I do have to work on Sunday but other than that my weekend is pretty clear. Both the kids and my husband have the entire weekend off so I think we might be able to something fun this weekend. We have been invited to my father in law’s for supper on Monday and everyone if really looking forward to that. So over the next couple of days I’m going to try to get all my work done so this weekend the only thing that I will have to worry about is getting full from a great Thanksgiving meal!

So Mother’s day is almost upon us. Have you given your partner your wish list yet? I have but don’t think I’ll get what I asked for. But that’s okay, just as long as my husband doesn’t give me some humorous retirement gifts we’ll be good to go. Not only is Mother’s day Sunday, but my birthday is Monday so I asked for a pretty big present. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see on Sunday if I get what I wished for or if I get something else that’s nice.

Well there’s less than a week to go before Valentine’s day and my husband’s birthday and I still have no clue as to what to buy him this year. I’ve looked around for a personalized message ring vday gift for him and have seen some great ideas. But I still haven’t found anything that jumps out at me and screams *him*. But I still have a little bit of time left so I’m sure I’ll find something. This year I wanted to find something different, but it looks like I might end up just getting him a cake, a gift card and taking him out to supper.
