All I want for Christmas is amemory foam mattress. That will be the song that I will be singing this year. A few years ago my husband and I broke down and purchased a new bed. But unfortunately we purchased the wrong type of bed and mattress and every morning I wake up with an extremely sore back. It has gotten to the point that I am almost tempted to sleep on the floor just to get some relief. But, thankfully for me I may not have to do this. I have recently been checking out all the benefits to purchasing a memory foam mattress bed. By everything I have read, this type of mattress sounds like the answers to my prayers. Not only are they quite reasonable in price, but because of the type of materials that are used in this product, I honestly think that waking up in this type of bed would be a lot less painful than a regular conventional bed.
So, this Christmas I am singing this song quite loudly and I have had a little support from some of my closest friends. All you need to do is watch the video to discover why I believe that there will be a memory foam mattress in my near future.
We have finally made a decision. In the Spring we will be putting our mobile home on the market for sale and purchasing a new house. To make this transition run as smoothly as possible I am now looking at different lending institutions to find the best options and rates on cheap mortgages. The reason why I am looking now and not waiting until we actually do sell this home and get ready to buy is because I would like to have pre-approved mortgage already set up when we start to look.
There are so many companies out on the market right now that offer all kinds of information on mortgages that I realize that I have a lot of researching ahead of me. But with all the information that is available to me, I am sure that I will be able to make a sound and uniform decision about where to apply for the best type of mortgage for my family. The great thing about these mortgage companies is that they are extremely happy to lend you a hand if you have any questions and they are willing to work with you to get you the very best deal possible. This not only applies to mortgages, but if your applying for a remortgage they are more than happy to help you out with this as well.
Although I don’t want to wait until after Christmas to make my office furniture purchases, my husband has talked me into waiting. He made a good point that in January I will probably find better prices and after holiday sales. So, although I really want some new furniture for my home office now, I am going to wait so hopefully I will save some cash on these purchases. But, come January, look out! As I will be making these purchases.
Finally after three weeks of having sick kids home (and a sick husband), I have the house to myself today. My daughter went back to school today after being out of school for an entire week due to phenomia. She is on the mend and back to her normal routine, so this makes it so I can get back to my normal routine. This means it is going to be a very busy day for me today. I need to clean out my car (to get it ready for inspection), go to the store to buy wrapping paper and tape, wrap gifts and do some more work on my homemade jewelry to get ready for a craft fair this weekend. If the kids were still sick and at home, all this work wouldn’t be possible. But with them both in school and my husband back at work, I have run out of excuses. lol
Unfortunately when a person purchases a brand new T.V. for their homes, that usually leads to another purchase. That would be a tv mount for the unit. You really can’t have a new T.V. and put it on an old mount. That’s what I think anyway. So, until I save up the money for a TV mount, I will not be making a purchase of a new T.V. I will make the purchase when I have enough money to pay for both. How about you guys? Would you wait on the purchase of the T.V. until you get the money saved to be able to purchase any accessories that you want with it, or would you just go ahead and make the purchase anyway?
Today outside the weather is pretty crappy. Last night it snowed and today it’s very cold and windy so I have decided that today will be a day that I will spend sorting out all my craft supplies. The other night when I went out shopping I bought a few small containers for my crafting supplies and today I am going to sort them and put them into different containers. This way when I decide to do a project, I won’t have to go searching through all the boxes for all the items that I will need. So, although the weather outside today isn’t very nice, I think that I will still get quite a bit accomplished.
There are so many furniture stores around now that a person really has no excuse on not being able to find the perfect piece of furniture if they so choose. There are all kinds of specialty stores around as well as big department stores to choose from. All a person needs to do is to do a little bit of research, shop around for the best prices and then make their decision. With the ease and availability of the Internet these days, all you need to do is make your purchase online and then you can have your piece of furniture delivered to your door step. How easy is that??
Not only do we get to contend with a major tropical storm to, but I also have two kids here at home that are sick. This is not fun and this is why I think we will end up having a very quiet weekend at home this weekend. The storm has already started in this area. It is now pouring quite heavily and the winds have started to pick up. Combine this with two cranky kids and that doesn’t make for a very nice weekend. So, with it being so quiet around here I should get lots of housework done and hopefully get a good chunk of work done on the latest quilt that I have been making.
A person doesn’t really realize on how much they depend on their hot water until they don’t have any. This past couple of days has been a real eye opener for me. I haven’t had any hot water for two days, so I haven’t been able to do the dishes, scrub floors or have a bath or shower. You really don’t miss the little things in life until they have been taken away. Well, today the repair man is suppose to come to my home to fix my hot water tank and I really hope that he does and that it is not a major problem. I really don’t know what I would do if I had to go another two days without hot water.
Well I wish my husband would make up my mind. LOL We now have carpet put down in both the kids bedrooms, but he has decided to go in a different direction for the floor in my new home office. We have some click flooring left over from the kitchen, so last night he asked me if I would be interested in putting that down instead of carpet. So, I think we are going to lay down flooring in this space instead of carpet. So now with that decision made, all I have to do is nag him completely to get the work done. That’s OK. As I already warned him that I would nag him to death until he gets this work completed. So, I’m back at my kitchen table until this work gets completed. And if he ever wants to have supper at the kitchen table again, I’m thinking that he may get this work done rather quickly.
