Lifes Like That

I honestly thought we were finished with all this hot, humid weather. But nope, it’s seriously warm in our area today and it’s not even noon. Now normally I absolutely love the summer but this year honestly I have hated it! It has been so hot and muggy all summer that I haven’t been able to get very much accomplished at all. By the time it’s dinner time it’s so hot in my house that all I feel like doing is trying to hide in some shade. But soon it will be fall and hopefully all this hot weather will be firmly behind us.

The good news is, is that I am surviving the summer. Between the kids fighting and the very hot temperatures that we have been getting, I don’t know how I’m surviving, but I am. I’m really hoping this heat wave ends soon so all I have to do is put up with the kids fighting. Normally I look forward to summer, but this year has turned out to be extremely bad. We still have about six weeks of summer left and I’m really hoping the next six weeks improve a bit. But… September is coming right??

Once again today I’m melting! I sure don’t need any of the safest fat burners right now this summer. This heat is sweating everything out of me. Yesterday we had a nice rainy day and today was supposed to be more of the same. But nope, right now it’s over 30 out and man… it’s hot. Don’t get me wrong I love summer, but this extreme heat is driving me crazy! And the bad thing is, is that these temperatures are supposed to continue on for the next week. If this crazy heats continues, I’ll just be a puddle in the middle of my house in no time.

Wow I can’t wait until this heat wave is over! For the past week we have had to live with unbearable temperatures and I have to say that I’m really getting tired of it. It’s too hot to stay inside, it’s too hot to go outside and it’s even too hot to sleep. And don’t get me started on all the extra acne solution treatments I’ve had to invest in because of this weather. Hopefully this hot weather will come to an end soon, or I really do think I’ll end up on the floor in a puddle of water.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love summer just as much as the next person. But when it gets so hot that it’s unbearable, then I have to draw the line. Well for the past few days we have been going through a serious heat wave and I’m tired of it! With temperatures climbing well over 30 degrees, this is way… to hot for me. It’s even too hot to sit outside to enjoy any of the sunshine. But… it’s supposed to cool down tonight. So hopefully (finger’s crossed) I will be able to get a decent night’s sleep for once. A girl can hope now can’t she??

Yay! It’s Monday. Normally I don’t really care for Monday’s, but this week is different. This week is different because I had my husband home last week on holidays, but today he went back to work. That’s why I’m so happy that Monday finally arrived. Last week I was unable to get anything done with him around. But since he went back to work today I plan on getting a whole lot accomplished. So…. it’s off to work for me. Work at home that is without any interruptions.

So what are your plans for the weekend? I plan on doing NOTHING. That’s right, nothing. I plan to take the weekend off from my work, my online work and even my housework. So that means I have a lot of things that I need to get done today before I can comfortably enjoy a weekend off. I haven’t did this in a very long time so this is going to be a real treat for me.

This past weekend we had a glorious long weekend. The weather was great so we spent most of the weekend outside. That meant that I didn’t get a whole lot done in my house over the weekend. So today it’s back to business for me. I’ve got a bit of blogging to do today and some transcription work. Then if I have time I have to clean out my home office. I misplaced my briefcases and I really, really need to find them. So… even though I don’t want to, it looks like I’m going to be stuck in the house today and not be able to go out to play.

I can’t believe that April is almost behind us! Where did the month go? I guess when you’re busy like I am time sure does have a way of running away from you. I have been so busy writing articles on subjects like www.irvingia.net, doing a lot of general transcription and working extra shifts outside of the home, that I really didn’t pay attention to where all my time had gone. Before you know it, the kids will be out of school and summer will be here.

Again…. where has the time gone???

You know when spring has arrived when you see all your neighbors outside cleaning up their yards after a long cold winter. Well that’s whats been happening in our area for the past few days. It has kind of got me in the mood to start doing a little yard work myself. I’m hoping I can get a start on it this weekend. I’m almost done the spring cleaning in our house and when I’m done sorting through all my natural vitamins, I will be finished inside. Then I can go outside and make my outside just as pretty as the inside.
