I really have to say that I can almost understand how people get themselves in so much trouble with different addictions these days. Becoming addicted to drugs or alcohol seems to have become a way of life these days. There are more and more drug rehab centers popping up. And they certainly wouldn’t be popping up so quickly if the need wasn’t there. I really do think that there should be more effort put forth on educating the young people of this world on drugs and the possible pitfalls of experimenting with these drugs and I also think the government and President Obama really needs to deal with this issue head on. If this trend is not addressed quickly, I can really see this problem getting worse and worse. Something really does need to be done.

It’s January 2009 already. Wow how time flies when your having fun! Well it’s time once again to thank all you kind folks who have stopped by this blog on a regular basis and dropped your Entrecards. Although I haven’t dropped very much lately from this blog (real life got in the way), I do appreciate each and every drop from you guys! So…here ya go! My son is almost seven but is about the size of a five year old.  His size doesn’t slow him down any and most times being so small doesn’t bother him.  But it bothers me because I am constatly worrying if he is healthy enough.  I think some of this problem may be due to the fact that he will eat almost nothing.  I have never seen a picky eater who is as bad as him.  When I voiced my concerns to my doctor he told me not to worry about and feed my son the food that he will eat.  If that means he eats fruit loops every day, all day then so be it.  He claims that at least he’s eating.  So, because he won’t eat hardly anything, right now he is pretty much living on fruit loops and cheese slices.

Has anybody here gone through this before?  And if you did, did you ever get your child to eat more different types of foods ever??

My anniversary is coming up and I have trying to think of something special that my husband and I could do to make this an extra special day. So, I thought that maybe we could go away for the weekend just the two of us. As we really never had a honeymoon, I was thinking that this would be a perfect belated honeymoon. One place I have been checking out is a place called California bed and breakfast. This site offers such lovely accomodations and very reasonable prices.
