Lifes Like That

In our province our minimum wage went up today. So this means I got a raise. Mind you it was only 50 cents an hour but it all adds up. We are scheduled for two more increases in the next year. So next year this time, if I’m still there, I will then be making $10.00 an hour. That’s not too bad for a waitress now is it?? After all these increases I am planning to increase my hours at work so by this time next year I should be making some pretty decent money.

Well once again this summer we are tied down to our home this weekend. My husband has to work this weekend so we really can’t do much of anything again this summer. I really have to say that this has been a waste of a summer as he has worked so much that we really haven’t been able to do a lot. He has been talking about looking for a different job and I really hope he does. Maybe then we might actually get some time off together to do some fun stuff with the kids.

I have been spending about 10 hours a day this past week on my computer and I have to tell you all that I’m in serious need of a break from it! I have been doing quite a bit of work on the computer and am not even close to being finished yet. Instead of typing all day I’d love to just be able to browse around the Internet for diet pills that work and just relax. But… since I’m not done my typing yet, that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. I’m really hoping to have everything done by Saturday noon so I can take a little time off.

I’ve been working from home on the Internet for about four years now. During the last four years I’ve only turned away work once and that was due to a serious illness in the family. Well last night I had to turn away work once again. I was asked to write some articles on the Bob revolution and since I have no real experience with this topic, I felt that I couldn’t do the articles justice. I really do hate to turn away money, but if I’m unclear with the subject matter, I’d rather turn it away then try to do the job and possibly not do a good job.

So I have finally started to try to get my home crafting business up and running once again. I can honestly tell you all that I had no idea how much work this would turn out to be. I thought that if I made some crafts and advertised my products that I would be able to just start up a small crafting business. Boy was I wrong. I didn’t realize that I should have some business credit reports made up or even how to set up a credit card payment option. I think this little business is going to take a bit more time and effort than I had originally thought. But since I want to make a go out of it, I’m willing to invest all this time and effort.

Well I was finally able to finish that huge file that I had been working on. And after looking in the mirror this morning, it looks like I won’t have to invest in that best anti wrinkle cream after all. After I’m done doing this post, I’m going to shut my computer down for the rest of the day and just sit back and relax. I feel I deserve this little break and maybe if I step away from the computer for a while, I will be able to recharge my batteries.

I have been staring at my computer screen typing so much these past few days that I know I’m going to have to invest in some wrinkle treatments when this contract is finally finished. I do general transcription work from home and lately I have been seriously swamped. I’ve been putting in 12 hour days just to try and finish one file. But the great news is, is that I’m almost done. Maybe tonight I’ll get some sleep and not have to worry about the wrinkles quite so much.

I have been employed at the same family restaurant for the past ten years. In my opinion it is actually the best franchise to own. This restaurant has been around for 42 years and there are different stores opening up all the time. But… I’m kind of getting tired of being a waitress. I’m still quite young and have been considering changing careers. I’m not real sure with what I want to do, but I do plan on making some sort of change before September. Now all I have to do is make up my mind in which direction I want to go and just get up the courage to go there.

After the last week that I’ve put through I’m really going to enjoy my day. I finally have a day off from work and I really don’t have that much that needs to be done on the Internet today either. So I think I’m going to take the day off and just sit around and relax with the family. Maybe I’ll be able to work on a bit of my crafts today or maybe I’ll just browse the Internet for the best way of getting rid of belly fat. I don’t know what I’ll end up doing today, but the point I’m trying to make is I don’t have to work, so anything I end up doing will be fun!

This has been a crazy week. I’ve had to work a lot outside of the home this week and this put my online work in a serious crisis. I haven’t been able to get much done online and that includes some apidexin reviews that I was supposed to write up. I was able to finish up some general transcription that is due, but other than that, I haven’t done much online work. I just got my schedule for next week at my outside job and it seems to be pretty light so I guess I’ll be able to finish up all this work on my computer that I didn’t get done this week.
