Lifes Like That

Wow, I think we are getting spoiled around here. For the past two days the weather has been absolutely beautiful. So nice in fact that I haven’t been in the house very much over the past couple of days so I really haven’t been blogging about things like a blackberry curve or anything else for that matter. It’s just too nice outside to stay indoors and do work. But I know this weather won’t last so I’m going to take advantage of it while I can. There will be a day soon enough when I’ll have to stay in and do work.

Why is it in the winter months the weeks seem to go by so slow?? Honestly guys I didn’t think this week was ever going to end. But it’s Friday so the weekend is almost here. So… what do you all have planned this weekend? My weekend isn’t going to be much fun as I didn’t get as much work done on the Internet as I had hoped so it looks like I will be working this weekend. I have some articles on hoodia gordonii to finish up, quite a bit of blogging to do and I really have to start a transcription job as well. I really don’t like working so much on my computer on the weekends, but I guess this work will have to get done. So… that’s my plans for the weekend. Sounds exciting now doesn’t it??

Well it’s almost the weekend. What are your plans for the weekend? Anything exciting planned? Well we don’t have any plans this weekend as my husband has to work. But… I do intend on taking the weekend off from my computer. I am going to try to get all my online work done today so I can just enjoy the weekend. If I can get all of this work done I plan on doing a little surfing on the net this weekend. I really want to start to investigate online degree programs so that if I decide to change jobs soon I’ll have something to fall back on. I really want to do something else besides being a waitress but I will definitely need to upgrade my education with online degree programs so that I will be ready for my dream job. So… off to work I go. Have a great weekend!

Well now that the new year is finally here I guess it’s time for me to once again get back to work. I have taken quite a bit of time off this holiday season and find myself getting a little behind in some of my online work. So today I plan on spending quite a bit of time on my computer. I have some articles on hgh supplements to work on and get sent out and then I also have a pretty big transcription project due in about a week. So… I guess this means the holidays are over for me. So… it’s back to work and back to making a little extra income as well.

So as you can all see, I really haven’t been around much these past days. I have been taking some very much needed time off. For the past few months I have been doing a lot of online work and I decided that this past Christmas I was going to take a few days off. So I haven’t been doing any posts on medical carts or anything else and I haven’t done any general transcription either. I have just been having fun with the family. After the new year I plan on doing more work on the Internet once again. So until then I’m just going to enjoy this mini vacation with my family and friends. Then… I’ll be back at it.

Last night I was scheduled to work 5 to 9 but ended up going home after only a couple of hours working. My husband was supposed to pick up my kids at my work after he got off but he didn’t get off on time and had to work overtime. This meant that my kids were stuck sitting at my work for over two hours. Although my boss had been there all day she allowed me to go home early with the kids because she felt bad for them having to sit there quietly for two hours. So I guess some days she can be really nice. Hopefully this doesn’t occur again tonight. I don’t know if she’ll let me go early two nights in a row.

I am so not a morning person. And getting up at 5:30 am is for the birds. But that’s what I had to do today. My husband informed me last night that he had to go out of town this morning for a training course on how to work on hydroponic systems. So 5:30 am this morning he woke me up so I would be awake to get the children ready for school. Well it’s now 8:40 am and I am extremely tired. These early days are just not my idea of fun.

I have been working in the service industry field as a waitress for the past ten years. I think I’m starting to get tired of it. I have been thinking about making a career change. I have checked out some medical assistant schools and thought that maybe this is something I’d like to do. The children are getting older and will soon be able to stay by themselves so going back to school soon certainly shouldn’t be a problem. So I only have to decide if this is something I want to go for and then just do it.

Since my husband is working today and the weather outside is not nice I have decided that today would be a perfect day to clean out the home office. I have quite a bit to do in there. I want to re-arrange the office furniture to find more room in there to work. But I have all day to get this done so this will give me something to do. Then after I’m all done maybe I will be able to find a little peace and quiet to be able to get all the computer work done that needs to be done as well.

So after doing general transcription for a little over a year now I think I’ve burnt myself out. I really do enjoy doing it, but it takes so much time to earn just a little money that I feel like I am constantly sitting on the computer. So I have decided to step away from it for a little while and try something else. I have decided to kick start my home crafting business once again as well as start doing some paid article writing once again. Maybe after I stop doing transcription for a while I won’t feel so burnt out and I can slowly get back into it at a later date.
